Yoga is more than just a physical practice or an exercise.  Yoga incorporates the awareness of breath with movement to allow the mind to be at peace.  The asanas, or postures, each provide a vital function to the body as they aid in calming the nervous system, releasing anxiety, aiding in digestion and menstruation, and detoxification.  The benefits of yoga asana are many, but the most important step towards your wellness is beginning your yogic journey.  Once you embark on this healing path, you will notice profound differences in your mind, breathing patterns, and sleep.  You will be better able to cope to the unpredictable rhythms and situations we encounter daily.  The beauty of yoga is seen off the mat and in your day to day life.

I offer private yoga and group sessions in the comfort of your home.  These private yoga lessons will be catered to your individual needs and I'll make sure that you may practice safely so that you may progress on your path of mind and body wellness.

I understand that life and work can be demanding, so why not bring yoga to the place in which it is most needed?  Bringing yoga and mindfulness at a work setting has been proven to release stress and tension and increase peacefulness, happiness, and productivity.  Practicing yoga in a group setting brings coworkers together and gives many of the employees something new and relaxing to look forward to.  I am more than happy to share yoga at your business or school setting.  This is a great first step to mind and body wellness.

MEDITATION AND BREATHWORK

Meditation and breath work are integral to yoga.  The belief in the West is that yoga is only a physical practice, but in reality, breath and meditation are fundamental in yoga.  In the ancient medicine of India, known as Ayurveda, it is believed that when the mind is at a dis-ease, then illnesses arise.  This is why it is important to meditate and calm the waves of the oftentimes chaotic thoughts that one encounters throughout the day.

I will guide you through your meditation practice to facilitate the calming of the mind and thoughts.  Through breath awareness, postures, and soothing music, you will find yourself meditating and enthralled in peace, thus allowing homeostasis and overall wellness to be restored to your mind, body, and soul.

A Natural Way to Heal

SOUND HEALING

Through harmonious vibrations and calming frequencies, sound healing is one of the best ways to calm and heal the mind.  It is no wonder why many of us turn to music for healing, as sound is one of the most ancient ways to heal the mind and body.  Simply lie down, close your eyes, and let the sounds permeate your mind, body, and soul.  The benefits are instantaneously, as the sounds are so strong that the body simply surrenders and lets go.  Surrender your stress and worries; surrender your weariness; simply let go and allow the sounds to heal you.


Individual and group sessions available.  You may book for a private event, retreat, or include it with your yoga package.
